Athens students assailed police Molotov cocktails.

In Athens, aggressive students assailed the police with stones and Molotov cocktails, reports Reuters on December 21. In response, police fired tear gas. Information about the victims from the other side and no injuries were reported.
The unrest began on Saturday night, when protesters threw "Molotov cocktails" building of the Ministry of Finance and set fire to two cars in the city center. In addition, they have attempted to set fire to Christmas tree installed on one of the Athens area.
Police surrounded the youth and gradually forced the protesters to seek refuge inside the university campus, where police, the Greek law, can not go. According to the police on campus is located about 600 student protesters.
  Earlier on Saturday in Athens was authorized by the City demonstration in support of the rights of immigrants, but in the course of her demonstrators also entered the altercation with police, after which law enforcement officers flew rotten eggs and helper objects. In Thessaloniki anarchists took over radio and cinema.
Clashes with police began in Greece on Dec. 6, after police killed 15-year-old resident of Athens Alexandros Grigoropolusa. Protests against the police action soon turned into massive anti-government speeches in all major cities of Greece.
