In Greece, in a one day strike by civil servants.

In Greece, on 25 February in a one day strike by civil servants, requiring the preservation of pension benefits, canceled last year's conservative government. Public hospitals only accept patients who require acute care, the national airline Olympic Airlines abolished about 70 flights, mostly local traffic, transmits Associated Press.
A strike organized by trade union ADEDY. The participants, doctors, teachers, employees of "ambulance" and tax that have been at the center of Athens, chanting "Hands off our pensions."
Air traffic disrupted for three hours, from ten am to one hour of the day local time, resulting in delays of flights.
In 2008 a law was passed to reform the pension system. It would increase the period of early retirement for civil servants and union pension funds with a profitable concern. These actions led to protests by workers, which in December 2008 led to riots.
