The King of Thailand pardoned insulted him Australian.

   Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej pardoned avtraliyskogo writer Harry Nicolaides (Harry Nicolaides), who in January was sentenced to three years in prison for insulting the Thai monarch. This was announced on 21 February AFP.
Writer released from prison on the evening of February 20. Now Australian Embassy in Bangkok has been negotiating for the return Nicolaides home. It is anticipated that this issue will be resolved during the day.
Harry Nicolaides worked as a teacher at a university in Thailand. Thai authorities have found that published them in 2005 novel "verisimilitude" in breach of local laws on contempt of royal grandeur. In August 2008, Nicolaides was arrested on a warrant issued back in 2007. In January 2009, the court found the author guilty.
In Thailand, there are the world's most stringent laws on insulting the monarch. However, Bhumibol Adulyadej is not the first time offended forgives him alien. In 2007, King was pardoned Helvetian Olivier Zhyufer (Oliver Jufer), who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for Colorizing black paint portraits Adulyadeta.
