Son of the late dictator Senior Guinea Lansana Conte on Tuesday, was arrested on charges of drug trafficking, reported AFP on 24 February.
Ousmane Conte (Ousmane Conte) was arrested at his home Tuesday and taken to a military camp Alpha Yaaya Dyallo. According to available information, the arrest of Ousmane Conté was made after he gave the alleged accomplices, whom police arrested another on Monday.
Lansana Conte, who ruled Guinea for 24 years, died on 23 December 2008. Immediately after the country took place in a military coup, in which the country was headed by Captain Dadi Moussa Camara, directed putschists. The Prime Minister of Guinea, Ahmed Tidiane Soir, along with several other high-ranking officials subject to the requirement and the junta in exchange for guarantees of personal safety relinquished his powers.
In connection with the coup, Guinea has been excluded from the African Union, but the putschists have promised to hold democratic elections in the country in 2010.
