Mexican drug traffickers have killed 20 people.

Mexican drug traffickers have killed 20 people in the north, transmits AFP. Most of the murders were committed in Ciudad Juárez, which passes through an underground channel for sending drugs to the United States.
Presumably, the murders were carried out in response to the authorities to control the conflict between the drug cartels in Ciudad Juárez. Thus, even in March 2008 on the orders of President Felipe Calderon in Mexico City were sent to more than 2 thousand soldiers and about 500 special agents. On Wednesday, February 25, the security of Mexico, held a meeting at which it was decided to strengthen security measures in Ciudad Juárez.
A few hours after the adjournment of the meeting the authorities discovered the bodies of several people killed by drug traffickers. Reported that only one village in the municipality of Parral were shot dead by four men. According to the agency, the dead were the victims of the conflict between the drug cartels of Ciudad Juarez and Sinaloa. Criminal gangs are fighting for spheres of influence because of the fundamental values of the city, which is an important transportation hub between Mexico and the USA.
On 26 February it became known that U.S. authorities had completed an operation against drug "Sinaloa". During the operation, which lasted 21 months, 750 people were arrested. In addition, over 24 and 25 February in California, Maryland and Minnesota have arrested another 52 people.
Mexican authorities have identified the fight against criminals involved in drug production and trafficking, 36 thousand soldiers who are serving in different parts of the country. Despite the efforts of the Mexican leadership, aimed at trying to end the violence in 2008 during the conflict between the drug cartels in Mexico has been committed 5300 murders.
