Colombia's secret service suspected of illegal surveillance of the president.

The Attorney General of Colombia, Mario Iguaran (Mario Iguaran) on Sunday launched a scan of the Administrative Department of Security (DAS). The reason for the inquiry in respect of DAS have been allegations that agents of illegally installed spying on some journalists, judges and opposition politicians, sends agency Associated Press.
Surveillance, among others, and has been President of Colombia Alvaro Uribe. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs Fabio Valencia, DAS agents established surveillance of the next several presidential advisers and his personal secretary.
For the first time about the illegal actions of DAS said one of the Colombian newspaper, in its publications, stating that in the last months of service agents illegally listened to telephone conversations of journalists, as well as view the Internet edition of the correspondence staff. On Sunday at the headquarters has been tested in order to identify evidence of illegal surveillance of journalists and dignitaries of State, but the results of the investigation has not yet been reported.
This is not the first scandal involved with the Colombian security services, said AP. Thus, the previous head of DAS, was dismissed from his post after the opposition Senator Gustavo Petro has provided evidence of illegal surveillance of him by the agents.
