In Algeria, the Islamists have killed nine guards.

Nine members of private security guards were killed February 22 when the Algerian Islamists attack the offices of the Al-Qaeda "on the pipeline near the town of Dzhidzhel (Jijel), informs Reuters.
The attack began with militants firing mortar rounds at the post guard, then the Islamists have made the assault on the territory of a gas pipeline owned company Sonelgaz. During the battle, nine private agencies SPAS, whose contract with Sonelgaz for protection of the company, were killed.
As reported by AFP, the attack is known from the words of witnesses and local media, the official Algerian authorities have not yet confirmed the incident.
