Al-Qaeda declared jihad president of Somalia.

One of the leaders of the terrorist group al-Qaeda Abu Yahya al-Libi (Abu Yahya al-Libi) urged his supporters to jihad against the new president of Somalia, a moderate Islamist Sharif Ahmed, passes Reuters.

In a video address posted on Islamic extremist websites, al-Libi has accused Sharif Ahmed is that he is a U.S. puppet, and called the recent presidential elections in the Somali-up.

Recall that Sharif Ahmed was elected president of Somalia on 31 January. He was succeeded as head of State Abdullah Yusuf Ahmed, who had held the presidency for five years.

Ahmed is a member of the Union of Islamic Courts of Somalia "- the rebel organization, which for several years struggled with the central government. Nevertheless, it belongs to the moderate wing of the Somali Islamists.
