The Australian pilot of the plane has safely planted on the water.

The Australian pilot put the plane on the water, reported BBC News on Friday, February 6.
The incident occurred at the northern coast of Australia in the harbor of Port Darwin. Pilot Steve Pain (Steve Bolle) planted a light twin aircraft Piper Chieftain, because at the time of flight denied one of the engines and the plane started to lose altitude rapidly. Planting occurred in shallow water, the pilot and five passengers were not injured and independently reached the shore. Later, passengers told that the pilot during the execution of this complex maneuver is not lost self.
Now being investigated causes of the accident, but a representative of the Metropolitan Police Darwin Rob Farmer (Rob Farmer) has stated that the pilot, Steve Pain has "tremendous skills".
Note that all of the world's media immediately compared the incident with the Australian "miracle on the Hudson: Jan 15, 2009 American pilot Chesli Sallenberger driving Airbus A-320 at the Hudson River, all 155 passengers survived. Now in the USA Sallenberger is considered a national hero.
