Hamas returned the stolen UN humanitarian assistance.

Islamist militants of Hamas in control of Gaza, returned to the United Nations humanitarian assistance, members of the previously stolen. The UN welcomed the actions of Hamas, and promised soon to resume deliveries of food and essential goods in the Palestinian enclave, reported The Jerusalem Post.
Hamas members have stolen hundreds of tons of food from warehouses in Gaza, the UN in early February 2009. After this incident, the UN announced the termination of deliveries of humanitarian aid into the enclave, citing the fact that it does not reach the needy.
In response, the representatives of Hamas, before proclaiming themselves as the only recipients of foreign aid in Gaza after Israel's military operation (only one enclave of Saudi Arabia pledged one billion dollars), said that humanitarian aid was stolen "by mistake" and promised, as soon as possible to return the seized food .
