Parents of Missing in Brazil, 19-year-old boy found his remains in the territory of an Indian tribe Kulina. The young man had eaten in the ritual act of cannibalism, reports CNN.
According to local officials, the Indians and young farmers have long been familiar, and even occasionally helped each other. We know that members of the tribe invited to a farmer, and since then it has not been seen. Parents have found the head of his son hanging from a tree, and the Indians "proudly" told that ritually ate it.
Investigation of the incident is complicated by the fact that Brazilian law neither the police nor the army have no right to enter the Indian tribes. Nevertheless, the Indians were five suspects detained for questioning, but later they managed to escape.
In order to clarify the fate of the missing had to wait three days of arrival in a remote corner on the border with Peru, representatives of FUNAI - National Indian Foundation of Brazil, particularly those involved in the interaction with the tribes.
Kulina tribe belongs to the so-called isolated tribes, but many of them come into contact with non-indigenous population. In Brazil, they live about 2500 people, 450 more live in Peru. In total there are about 55 such isolated communities.
According to FUNAI, Brazil's 460 thousand Indians speak 1300 languages. Language Kulina tribe is particularly complex, with women and men of one tribe, speak different languages.
