In the Dominican Republic, arrested the head of the Neapolitan mafia.

   In the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo, arrested one of the 100 most dangerous criminals wanted by law enforcement authorities of Italy. This was announced on February 10 edition of La Repubblica.
It is believed the Italian investigators, who was arrested in Santo Domingo, the son of the leader of the Neapolitan mafia "Kamorra" Chiro Matsarella (Ciro Mazzarella) recently was the head of "Kamorry. This is due to the fact that the father Chiro Gennaro Matsarella Francis and his brother are in prison. Chiro Matsarella himself was on the run since 2006 - since the Italian police got a warrant for his arrest.
According to the investigation in 2006 Matsarella fled, first to Colombia, then to Costa Rica and later moved to Santo Domingo. In the capital of the Dominican Republic Mafiosi lived in a luxurious villa. From there, he coordinated the activities of the Neapolitan mafia.
In search Matsarelly Italian law enforcement authorities helped Interpol. Mafia detention together Italian and Dominican police.
Last month it was the fourth arrest of representative governance "Kamorry. January 28, in Madrid, was arrested a senior Neapolitan mafia Antonio Kayatstso, and January 18, also was detained in Spain, one of the ringleaders "Kamorry" Salvatore Zazo. Finally, on 14 January in Italy, was arrested the leader of a mafia clan in Naples by Giuseppe Setolu.
