The blast near a police station in the city of Cali in the southwest of Colombia, 35 people were wounded, one died, said El Pais. Among the five affected children.
A powerful explosion occurred in a car parked opposite the police station. Suffered considerable damage buildings within a radius of 500 meters in the city was interrupted electricity.
According to police, the explosion involves organization Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). A few hours before the blast the FARC released the three policemen and a soldier who was held as hostages in 2007.
