A magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred in south-western Mexico on Monday, April 27, reports CNN. According to the United States Geological Survey, the epicenter of tremors was in the state of Guerrero, about 70 kilometers north-east of Acapulco.
Fluctuations in the earth, and felt in Mexico City, located 240 kilometers from the epicenter of the earthquake: the building in the capital to shake for 30-45 seconds. After the tremors Mexico City residents began to flee homes and jobs, and meet on the street.
