Israel returned the ambassador to Switzerland.

The Ambassador of Israel in Switzerland previously withdrawn for consultations, returned to their duties, AFP reported on April 27.
Ilgar Ilan (Ilan Elgar) left Switzerland on 20 April, after he led the Heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Avigdor Lieberman. A diplomatic demarche was caused by the fact that the anti-UN Summit in Geneva came Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, known for his anti sentiments. In his speech at the summit, Ahmadinejad called Israel's policy towards the Palestinians in Gaza genocide.
In Geneva, Ahmadinejad also held a bilateral meeting with President of Switzerland Hans-Rudolf Merz, has caused particular outrage that the Israeli authorities.
Switzerland considers the prosecution of Israel in his address unfair. In doing so, the Swiss authorities have emphasized that since the 1980's, the country represents U.S. interests in Iran, which maintains a stable working relationship.
United States and Israel ignored the summit in Geneva.
