Sand storms covered the north of China.

In the northern and north-western part of China, April 23, started strong sandstorms, reports Xinhua. According to local meteorologists, the strength and duration of these storms became one of the strongest over the past ten years and the most serious since the beginning of 2009.
It clarifies the AFP, the most affected province of Gansu, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia region. Visibility in the capital city of Gansu Lanzhou fell to less than 500 meters, and in some areas, visibility was less than 100 meters.
