Russia and Hong Kong have agreed to abolish visas.

Russia and Hong Kong signed on Thursday, April 23, an agreement on mutual abolition of visas, Interfax reports. Captions under the bilateral documents were delivered to the Embassy of Russia in Beijing.
Expected that the agreement will enter into force 30 days from the date of signature. After this period, the Russians will be able to enter the Special Administrative Region of China in Hong Kong without a proper visa. However, according to the document located in the region without a visa would be only 14 days. Those planning to travel to Hong Kong in the longer term, will have to issue a visa.
As the Russian Ambassador to China Sergei Razov, who signed an agreement with the Russian side, the abolition of visas will facilitate the development of relations between the parties.
