The French fishermen are engaged in fishing for tuna, blocked a few ports of the country in protest against the introduction of new EU measures aimed at strengthening oversight of private fishing boats. That was reported by Associated Press.
Fishermen hamper the entrance of vessels in the ports of Marseilles and La Sioty on the southern coast of France and two ports on the island of Corsica. Because of their action in the port of Marseilles had not been able to get pleasure craft and two ferries - they were forced to go to the port city of Toulon.
