Since April 10, in Dubai emirate will run buses that are intended only for women, said Gulfnews Dubai with reference to road transport agency. According to the Dubaicityguide, a fleet of 7 vehicles, which is scheduled to expand in the future, will work from 6:30 to 9:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00.
According to the agency, Mohammed Abu Bakar Al-Hashimi, the decision was preceded by an analysis of passenger traffic that shows routes, where demand for such services was greatest.
It is worth mentioning that Dubai is different from many other Arab countries to a large degree of freedom for women.
