At the Attorney General Hernan Estrada Nicaragua (Hernan Estrada) assassinated, reports Reuters. At the time of the attack Estrada committed scamper near his home the morning of Monday, 6 April.
At the prosecutor general attacked an unidentified attacker, who was riding a motorcycle. He shot Estrada, when passed by him. According to local police, Prosecutor General, was wounded in the neck, but not seriously hurt. Neighbors officials took him to hospital, from where he was discharged a few hours.
Local Police Chief Aminta Granera (Aminta Granera) declined to comment on possible motives of the assassination attempt on stage. Nevertheless, the Attorney General said that the attack was political in nature. According to the agency, he is a close ally Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, whose opponents accuse him of trying to install the country's dictatorial regime.
