In Strasbourg, arrested 300 opponents of NATO.

French police arrested 300 people in Strasbourg before the NATO summit, which opens April 3, reported AFP.
According to the agency, were arrested after clashes with demonstrators by members of law enforcement, which began a day earlier. Police also had to apply to 2, thousands of demonstrators with tear gas.
April 2, masked protesters marched through the center of Strasbourg, burning garbage cans on the path of thunder sticks and bus stops. Then the police managed to marginalize the demonstrators back to their camp, situated on the outskirts of the city.

Anniversary NATO Summit will be held on 3 and 4 April in Strasbourg and Kehl and the German cities of Baden-Baden. It will be attended by 28 countries - members of the alliance, including the recent Croatia and Albania.
As expected, the summit will discuss the new strategic concept of the alliance, as well as military actions by NATO.
In France, the security at the summit provided 25 thousand police officers. The police feared that the city may be new protests involving tens of thousands of people protesting against the activities of the alliance.
