Dear hours totaling 5.5 million dollars were stolen from the Singapore store at Christmas, tells AFP.
The store hours were represented brands Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and Cartier. The cost of some hours to reach the tens of thousands of dollars.
The police said that this is one of the largest thefts committed in Singapore, which is known for its security.
In a statement the company Cortina Holdings, which owns a shop, says that this incident will have serious financial implications. However, Cortina has assured shareholders that the cash from the company's all right, and its stores operate as usual.
In 2009, Cortina plans to open five new stores in Singapore.
