Romania's new Prime resigned five days after the appointment.

Five days after the appointment of a candidate in the Prime Minister of Romania Teodor Stolozhan abandoned his post and the mandate to form a new government. Romanian President Traian Besesku appointed in his place 42-year-old leader of the liberal Democrat Emil Bock, said AFP.
According to Romanian law after the parliamentary elections, the President shall appoint a candidate for premier, to be within 10 days to form a cabinet. Then the parliament approves the candidacy of the prime minister as well as the composition of his government. At last November 30 elections with a slight superiority defeated the Social Democratic Alliance and Conservative parties.
However, President Besesku instructed the formation of a government, the second number in giving the election the party of liberal Democrats Theodor Stolozhanu, which has headed the country's government in 1991-1992. Following that decision, intensive consultations among the parties, none of which won a decisive majority in parliament, led to the signing on Sunday, December 14, the agreement "Partnership for Romania, which provides for a governing coalition of conservatives, Social Democrats and liberal democrats and the formation of the new cabinet.
After signing the agreement Stolozhan said that the new prime minister should be one of the leaders entered into a party and renounced his post. He also added that its decision wants to enable the younger generation of Romanian politicians to solve difficult problems to overcome the effects of the global financial crisis and the continuation of economic reforms.
In place of a candidate for the prime ministers of Romania president has nominated the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Emil Bock, who is the mayor of Cluj.
