Fidel Castro has refused to "handouts" Obama.

In response to the signing of United States President Barack Obama, the decree to ease sanctions against Cuba, former Cuban leader Fidel Castro said that Cuba does not need a "dole", and called on the White House to lift sanctions entirely, transfer agency AFP.

"Nothing was said about lifting the trade embargo, which is the most brutal of all the action" - said Castro, noting that Obama could use his talents for more constructive policies.

The partial lifting of sanctions against Cuba, in particular, allows U.S. citizens with relatives in Cuba, to visit them each year rather than every three years. Simplified scheme of remittances.

Obama Administration also will allow telecommunications companies to provide the United States in Cuba, service provider and pay television. Paying for them will be able to relatives in the United States.

United States imposed sanctions against Cuba in 1962 after the Caribbean crisis. UN has repeatedly urged the U.S. to lift sanctions, but Washington earlier categorically refused to do so.

Barack Obama, even during his campaign stood for the easing of sanctions, justifying this by saying that with the coming to power in Cuba, Raul Castro has become a liberal reform. Fidel Castro, the permanent head of Cuba for fifty years, due to ill health in 2008 was forced to step down power.
