DPRK to resume its nuclear program in response to condemnation of the UN Security Council.

North Korea on Tuesday, April 14, announced the resumption of work at the main nuclear plant to produce weapons-grade plutonium. That was reported by Reuters, referring to North Korea's state news agency.
In a statement distributed by North Korean Foreign Ministry, said that the DPRK has denied the document adopted on 13 April by the UN Security Council, and intends to resume work on its nuclear program.
Thus, Pyongyang officially withdraws from the six-party talks involving Russia, the United States, China and Japan started in 2003 in connection with the DPRK's nuclear test.
"In the six-party talks is no longer necessary. We [the DPRK] will no longer intend to participate in such negotiations, and will not be any agreements reached during such discussions," - quoting Agence France-Presse DPRK Foreign Ministry statement.
The message on the resumption of the DPRK's nuclear program was followed, after the UN Security Council adopted a statement condemning North Korea's launch of missiles from satellites.
