The new head of the government of Malaysia will be Najib Razak (Najib Razak), Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Badawi. It was expected that Razak will be sworn in April 3. Earlier Razak Badawi had already succeeded as President of the Common Malaysian national organization - the most influential political party.
Abdullah Ahmad Badawi became Prime Minister of Malaysia in 2003, when a coalition of National Front, which includes Malay single national organization with a large margin victory in the elections to the parliament.
However, the early parliamentary elections held in March 2008 on the initiative of Badawi, the ruling coalition for the first time in 39 years has not been able to win two-thirds of the seats. Badawi then said that did not intend to resign either from the post of prime minister, nor from the post of President of the Common Malay National Organization.
