In Thailand, because of the protests the Government lifted meeting, reports Reuters.
Usually Thai cabinet meets on Tuesdays, but the March 31 event was not held. The authorities feared clashes between police and members of the Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship, which is already besieged government buildings for six days. Participants in rallies demand resignation of the Cabinet Abhizita Veydzhadzhivy.
As expected, March 31, the court will respond to a request from the Government, which demanded to acknowledge the protest illegal. The Court may formally request that the protesters gave ministers the opportunity to safely enter the building in the government.
"Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship" linked to former Prime Minister of Thailand Thaksin Shinawatra, overthrown in an armed coup in 2006. It Chinavat recently called on his supporters to hold a series of rallies under the slogan "Bring back democracy." March 30, Chinavat made a video, which promised the protesters that if the power suppression of protests, he himself will return to the country from abroad and organized the coup.
Abhizit Veydzhadzhiva was elected prime minister of Thailand in December 2008. Its Thai Government for a period of approximately two months, led by Sonchat Vongsavat (the opposition has made his resignation, blocking of the airport), and before him - Samak Sundaravej. As Vongsavat or Sundaravej was forced to resign in connection with allegations of continuing the course Chinavata. To the premiere Veydzhadzhivy such accusations do not ring, but against him were supporters Chinavata.
