The number of dead in crash of military-transport aircraft in Indonesia rose to 97 people, reports AFP referring to the representative of the national Air Force. According to him, the hospital brought 15 people with various injuries.
All on board the C-130 Hercules were about 110 people, including crew members. The passengers were military personnel and their families, sent to the province of Papua on New Guinea.
It fell upon arrival at an intermediate landing next to a military airfield in the east of the island of Java. In the fall of the destruction of several houses in a village near the airfield, the local community can also be victims.
The disaster occurred at 6:30 local time (2:30 across Moscow). Causes of the accident is not yet known.
