Obama has appointed U.S. Ambassador to India and Japan.

President Barack Obama on Wednesday, May 27, named the U.S. Ambassador to Japan and India, informs AFP referring to the press service of the White House.

American Embassy in Japan, headed by John Eng (John Roos) - lawyer, who took an active part in the election campaign of Barak Obama.

U.S. Ambassador to India will be Timothy Romer (Timothy Roemer) - former member of the House of Representatives of the Democratic Party. Romer, notes the Associated Press, a member of the commission investigating the attacks of 11 September 2001 and also participated in a committee of Congress to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons.

Appointment of Rusa and Romer noted in a statement distributed by the White House, "should serve to strengthen international cooperation in this crossroads for our nation and the world at the moment."
It also became known that a candidate for the U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain is selected Sasmen Louis (Louis Susman), previously held a leadership positions in the unit of Citigroup Corporate and Investment.
