At least 30 people were injured in the shooting, which took place on Sunday, May 24, in one of the Hindu temples of Vienna, reported AFP.
According to the police, firefight in the Sikh temple has been opened between the two families. Motives of the conflict has not yet been established.
Nine of the 30 victims were seriously injured and were evacuated to hospitals in three helicopters.
All people involved in the shooting in the temple, had already been arrested, the police said. All five arrests were made.
Currently residing in Austria, tens of thousands of followers of Sikh religion. Overall, worldwide there are around 25 million, most of the Sikhs living in northern India.
