   The crew of the Norwegian ship Sigloo Tor otbilsya themselves from a group of Somali pirates in Gulf of Aden, said April 1, agency Associated Press, referring to the representative of the Navy of Greece Andreas Vettosa.
Pirates was shot several times in Sigloo Tor, but sent a crew to spray water from fire hoses. After that, the pirates fled, none of the Norwegian seamen were injured.
According to Vettosa, shortly after the incident, a team of Greek frigate patrolling the Gulf, the ship was detained five suspected the Somalis. But to prove their involvement in the attack on Sigloo Tor is not possible, therefore, the detainees were released. Perhaps, before the arrest they have weapons to throw overboard.
During the 2008 attack by pirates in the Gulf of Aden were subjected to about 150 ships. Some 50 ships were hijacked, they demanded a ransom. Because of the inability of the authorities engaged in civil war-torn Somalia to cope with the pirates UN authorized foreign ships to patrol the territorial waters of the country.
