Republic of Kosovo adopted the International Monetary Fund.

Remember, even before the independence of the authorities of Serbia in 2007, is offering Kosovo the right to membership in the IMF and World Bank in the status of autonomous province of Serbia, but the then Prime Minister Agim Ceku said that the priority issue is to recognize the independence of the region - a condition in which Serbia does not agreed.
Since the unilateral declaration of independence of 17 February 2008 Kosovo is already recognized 55 states, of which, however, does not include Russia, acting on the side of Serbia, which continues to consider Kosovo part of its territory.
