Spain has banned two Basque political parties.

Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón to three years, banned the political activities of the two radical Basque party Democracy 3 000 000 "and" Askatasuna in Spain, reported Agence France-Presse. If necessary, the ban period may be extended to five years.
Recall 8 February, 2009 these parties were not allowed to participate in regional elections in the Basque Country. "Democracy 3 000 000" and "Askatasuna suspected of having links with terrorist group ETA and its political wing Batasuna, the party, which was banned in Spain since 2003.
In 2008, Spain has a similar incident: the court then dismissed from the Basque regional elections, the party PCTV (Partido Comunista de las Tierras Vascas) and ANV (Accion Nacionalista Vasca); they are also suspected in connection with ETA and Batasuna.
According to the agency, the radical Basque party enjoyed the support of approximately 10 percent of the population of the Basque Country.
