Hamas agreed to a 24-hour truce with Israel.

Hamas and other groups operating in the Gaza Strip, agreed to a 24-hour truce with Israel. This tells AFP, referring to the representative of the movement Ayman Taha (Ayman Taha).
According to the agency, Palestinian factions agreed to halt rocket and mortar attacks inside Israel, at the request of Egyptian mediators in exchange for "delivering aid from Egypt." What exactly is this assistance, did not specify.
According to Taha, quoted by Reuters, the ceasefire is respected in the evening Sunday and could be extended if Israel would refrain from attacks on the sector and the lifting of economic sanctions. However, the Israeli army, the words which leads agency reported that Sunday evening in the shelling of Israeli territory from Gaza continued.
Previously, it was reported that Hamas came out of semi-truce with Israel on December 18, the day before its expiry. 22 December, the representative of the movement warned Israel from the beginning of a full-scale operation in the sector, threatened in such a case the attacks.
