Turkish Prime became a national hero after the skirmish with Peres.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, left the Economic Forum in Davos because of conflict with Israeli President Shimon Peres at the airport in Istanbul, Turkish citizens greeted as a hero. That was reported by "BBC" on Friday, January 30.
