Pope spent Christmas Mass disadvantaged children.

In a Christmas sermon on the night of Thursday, Pope Benedict XVI has asked parishioners to consider the plight of children who are deprived of parental love, transmits Agency France Presse.
"Let us think about the children from the street who do not have the blessing of the family hearth, to those who grossly exploited as soldiers and to make tools of violence, not the messengers of reconciliation and peace. Let us think about those children that are victims of pornoindustrii and other forms of ill - treatment, because of what are their souls, "- said the Pope. Mass was held in Italian.
Pontifex also called for an end to violence in the Middle East and an end to hatred, especially focusing on the situation in Jerusalem, in which he intends to visit in May 2009. Information about the upcoming visit of Pope in the Holy Land appeared on Monday. The exact date of the visit but not named, but some Italian media reported that Benedict XVI will visit Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian territories during the period from 8 to 15 May. This will be the first visit of the Pope in the Middle East.
At noon on December 25 (14 pm Moscow time), the Pope will address a message to the traditional Urbi et Orbi (city and the world), which will talk about current events and that the Holy See was concerned.
