Pope spent Christmas Mass disadvantaged children.

In a Christmas sermon on the night of Thursday, Pope Benedict XVI has asked parishioners to consider the plight of children who are deprived of parental love, transmits Agency France Presse.
"Let us think about the children from the street who do not have the blessing of the family hearth, to those who grossly exploited as soldiers and to make tools of violence, not the messengers of reconciliation and peace. Pontifex also called for an end to violence in the Middle East and an end to hatred, especially focusing on the situation in Jerusalem, in which he intends to visit in May 2009. Information about the upcoming visit of Pope in the Holy Land appeared on Monday. The exact date of the visit but not named, but some Italian media reported that Benedict XVI will visit Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian territories during the period from 8 to 15 May. This will be the first visit of the Pope in the Middle East.
