In the north-east of Baghdad, an explosion occurred.

The blast, which occurred in the north-east of Baghdad on Wednesday evening, killed at least 55 people. That was reported by Agence France-Presse, citing sources in the ministry of internal affairs of Iraq.
The explosion occurred at a busy market in Baghdad, in the quarter of Sadr City, inhabited predominantly Shiite. The bomb was found in a wheel chair rickshaw. Other details of the accident is unknown.
According to agency Reuters, as a result of suicide bombing killed 52 people, another 104 were injured.
The explosion in Baghdad, which occurred six days before the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraqi cities, became the second major terrorist attack committed in Iraq this month.
