"After ten days of verification, we have not found any major violations. We have not had any fraud in the presidential election alone, as recent elections have been transparent themselves in history," - said Abbasali Kadhodai.
Recall that on 22 June, representatives of the Council have already said they have found only minor violations at 50 sites: a total of voters in elections three million more than was stated in the voter list, but, as noted in the Council, it did not affect the overall result of voting.
According to official figures, for the Conservatives, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad voted 63 per cent of voters, while his main rival, the representative of the camp of so-called reformers world-Hossein Mousavi - 34 per cent. The opposition said that juggling and brought his supporters onto the streets.
In Tehran, protests escalated into riots, and were dispersed by police and members of popular militias - Basijis. More than 450 people were arrested. According to official figures, 17 people were killed. The opposition, for its part, said 150 of those killed.
Meanwhile, the Iranian parliament has set dates to the installation of the winner of last June 12 presidential election. The inauguration of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to take place between 26 July and 19 August.
