The Presidential Council of Iraq signed an agreement on the withdrawal of American troops.

Members of the Presidential Council of Iraq signed a treaty with the U.S. on security, on which American troops will be withdrawn from the country by the end of 2011. This agency Reuters reported on Thursday, 4 December.
Recall, November 27, the Iraqi parliament majority, endorsed the agreement with the Americans. According to established procedure, the contract must sign all members of the Presidential Council, which comprises the president and two vice-presidents. The representative of Nasir al-Ani (Naseer al-Ani) told the agency that President Jalal Talabani and his two Deputy put their signatures under the document.
Specified that the final agreement with the United States will enter into force only on the condition that it be approved by Iraqis in a national referendum. A referendum on a treaty to be held next year.
According to the American command, Iraqi troops now totals 150 thousand soldiers. The mandate of the UN report issued by a military coalition to stay in the country expires at the end of 2008.
