The Saudi king has received from Lech Walesa prize of 100 thousand euros.

The first laureate Lech established Valensoy prize was the king of Saudi Arabia Abdullah, said AFP.
In his letter monarch Lech Walesa asked to accept the award as recognition of his work in establishing a dialogue between religions, spreading the ideas of tolerance, of peace-building and international cooperation as well as active participation in charitable programs.
Award established by Valencia in honor of 25 anniversary of the awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize, which was held in 1983 for achievements in the fight against the communist regime.
In addition to Lech Walesa in the prize committee also includes dissident and former Czech president Vaclav Havel, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and former Polish Foreign Minister Wladyslaw Bartoszewski.
In 2005, Saudi King sponsored a complex operation to separate Siamese twins, the Polish girls Olga and Daria Kolach.
According to Lech Walesa, premium, the amount of which 100 thousand euros will be awarded to the most distinguished in strengthening understanding and cooperation among peoples figures.
