Belgian police detained 150 participants in the protest against NATO.

Belgian police on Saturday, March 21, detained at least 150 participants in the protest against NATO, trying to break into the territory of the alliance headquarters in Brussels, said AFP.

The organizer of the action, which was attended by several hundred people, made by Belgian pacifist organization Vredesactie, calling for the dissolution of the North Atlantic Alliance. Participants also demanded the withdrawal of international troops from Afghanistan and declared that American nuclear weapons should be transported to military bases in Europe to the United States.

AFP notes that the detention of the participants in the protest, tried to get into the territory of NATO headquarters, the police did not have to use force.
