The protest by a fire near the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance in Athens, led to clashes between police and demonstrators, reports said, citing local media.
According to Greek television channels, hundreds of firefighters converged on the building of the Ministry, requiring the State to conclude with permanent employment contracts. After some time after the start of the demonstration a few demonstrators tried to forcibly enter the building of the Ministry, but were fight off the special squad.
During the clashes the police was forced to use tear gas and sound grenades. About the victims or detainees were reported. At this time, the area remains tense incident, fire broke camp in front of the Ministry, demanding the authorities to meet their demands.
