Reported that Ravulamanana flew to Swaziland 23 March. Until that time his whereabouts were unknown. Upon arrival he met with the King of Swaziland Mswati III, who is chairman of the Executive Committee of the South African Union.
Marc Ravalomanana, resigned March 17, under pressure from the military revolt, supporters of opposition leader Andri Razhuelinu, who proclaimed himself the new president of the country.
