In Lebanon, killed a Palestinian politician.

A prominent Palestinian politician Medhat Kamal (Kamal Medhat), and four of his bodyguards were killed in Lebanon after their vehicle hit a mine, transfer agency AFP.

The incident occurred March 23 near the Palestinian refugee camp of Mieh Mieh, near Sidon.

The death Medhat representatives have already confirmed the movement Fatah, headed by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Medhat Kamal was one of the representatives of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Lebanon. Earlier, according to AFP, he held the post of head of Fatah intelligence on the Lebanese territory.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the assassination of Kamal Medhat.
