The friendship with the Chinese has led to the resignation of Defense Minister of Australia.

Australian Defense Minister Joel Fittsgibbon (Joel Fitzgibbon) has resigned, reports BBC News. The reason for his departure from office, presumably, have a few scandals that erupted around him in recent times.
These include the recent investigation conducted by officers of the Ministry of Defense of Australia, which prevented the leakage of information about the private life of Fittsgibbona. More investigation became known local press, and then spilled into the global media.
The Ministry considered that the friendship with the heads of departments who lives in Sydney with the entrepreneurs of Chinese origin Liu Helen (Helen Liu) could damage the national security of Australia. Speaking to the official statement of resignation, Fittsgibbon apologized for the conflict between the Government of Australia and insurance company, headed by his brother. The resignation of Minister of Defense was the first dismissal of a Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Kevin Ruddy in November 2007.
At a press conference in Canberra Ruddy said that the new head of the Ministry of Defense of Australia to be appointed as soon as possible. Commenting on the work Fittsgibbona in office, Prime said that the head of the Ministry of Defense performed his duties first class.
