Putin added that Russia intended primarily to ensure the country's gas Balkans and Slovakia, because they all suffered from the Russian-Ukrainian gas conflict.
Remember, Gazprom began to transit gas deliveries from Russia to Europe on 13 January at about 10:00 Moscow time. Injection of fuel in the Russian gas transmission system of Ukraine was conducted in a test mode.
International observers were to monitor the transit of gas. However, the Russian gas concern claimed that "Naftogaz Ukraine" does not let the representatives of Gazprom in the Ukrainian control center and underground storage. Later, President Viktor Yushchenko said that 25 Russian experts have full access to the gas installations on Ukrainian territory and have already begun their work.
