India's ruling party will go to elections under the song of the "millionaire from the slums".

Political party Indian National Congress, acquired rights to the title song "Jai Ho" from the movie "Slums of the millionaire." Song, whose name can be translated into Russian as "victory" will be used by the ruling party in the election campaign for the elections in the Indian Parliament in spring 2009, reports Reuters.
The leaders of the "National Congress" clarified that "Jai Ho" will be heard during rallies in towns and villages of India. Press secretary of the party noted that it was "the Indian National Congress" song "Jai Ho" coming at an opportune moment.
Opponents of the ruling party, in turn, called the selection of songs from the "millionaire from the slums" election ploy, and expressed confidence that "Jai Ho" would ensure the defeat "National Congress".
