Netanyahu gave two more weeks to form a coalition.

Israeli President Shimon Peres gave a further two weeks, the designated, but not entered in the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form a coalition government. Reported AFP.
28-day period allowed Netanyahu to create a coalition, to expire March 20. In this regard, the Prime asked to give him more time. This procedure is provided by Israeli law.
According to the AFP, during these two weeks, Netanyahu, leader of the right Likud party, will try to convince the left party "Labor" of Ehud Barak to join the coalition. Currently, the coalition with the Likud Party forms a right-wing Avigdor Lieberman "Our home - Israel."
Initially, Netanyahu had planned to form a new cabinet with the Likud, Labor and the centrist party, Tzipi Livni, "Kadima". At the February 10 elections held in the Knesset "Kadima" won first place (getting 28 seats in parliament), "Likud" - the second (27).
Livni had a good chance of being appointed the new prime minister, but on 20 February Perez preferred Netanyahu. Negotiations on forming a coalition with the "Kadima" failed. However, despite the disagreements, the parties agreed to continue negotiations. The next round is scheduled for 21 March.
