27 pupils of a kindergarten in Mexico were killed in a fire.

At least 27 children died in a fire that occurred on Friday, June 5, in kindergarten in the city of Hermosillo, State of Sonora, Mexico, reported AFP. At the time of the accident in the kindergarten were 176 children.

Local authorities warned that the rescue work at the site of burnt kindergartens continue, and did not rule that the death toll could rise. Several dozen children affected by fire, delivered in urban hospitals, said Reuters.

According to preliminary reports, the fire spread to the building of a kindergarten located near the warehouse tires. However, stressed the local authorities, the circumstances of the accident remains to be seen.
