Obama and Sarkozy nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The list of individuals and organizations nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, hit by U.S. President Barack Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Reported AFP. According to official figures, included in the list of 205 nominees, 33 of which are organizations.
Thus, in 2009 for the Nobel Peace Prize brought a record high number of applicants. The previous record was in 2005 when the list consisted of 199 organizations and individuals.
